Pants fit great!

Well I am on week 4 now and so far, so good!! My coworkers are starting to notice my weight loss and my pants are fitting more comfortably. I am so glad that I decided to sign up for Weight Watchers, even though my financial situation is tight. The way I am going to feel in the end will more than compensate for what I am spending right now! I am the type of person who needs structure, needs to write things down, and needs the support and encouragement from others. I simply cannot do it on my own, and that's okay!! Some people can and that's great, but weight loss varies from person to person and I have to do what is best for me.

So far, the message boards have been like my bible! I am meeting a lot of nice people, all around my age, and we are all going through the same things. I have written down a bunch of recipes that I am super excited to try, and even made these oatmeal granola muffins that were DELICIOUS! I bought some 2-point bars from my weight watchers meeting and those are so satisfying, I wasn't expecting their food to be so good! If anyone is looking for suggestions, I recommend the chocolate brownie bars...I could eat them all day...and just might....oops!

I was really worried about my weigh in this week because it was my time of the month and my stomach was starting to adjust, so I wasn't hungry at all during the week! I finally felt very satisfied and too full sometimes. There were 2 nights in particular that I was stuffed before going to bed, and still had to eat about 4 more points. So I thought for sure that I was overdoing it and would have gained. But I lost 3.6lbs which is awesome and now I only have .6 left to get to 5%!!!

If anyone is wondering about my workout routine, it's really quite simple. I only go to the gym 3x a week for about 45 minutes. I spend 1/2 an hour on the elliptical (trying to bump it to 45 minutes) and then about 10 minutes or so doing weights for my upper body. I think my body is getting used to it though, so I really need to add some variety. Any suggestions? Also, I live in the city and walk for 15 minutes to work, then back home for 15 minutes. So everyday I am getting in at least 1/2 an hour of walking which is great. I don't have a car so I have to walk everywhere!
